COMMUNITY

Wings 4 Kidz

Lucy & Naomi are gearing up for the second year of the Never Late Fe-mail Postie Bike Ride, all in support of a cause very close to their hearts.

Over four days, starting on Wednesday 3rd April, they will traverse regional towns on Postie bikes, raising both awareness and much needed funds for Wings4kidz.

Together we can make a positive impact on the lives of sick children and their families.

Pink Up Mudgee

Mudgee continues to shine pink every October to raise funds for the McGrath Foundation and breast cancer awareness.

In 2023 First National Real Estate Mudgee wore pink throughout October and held two fundraising events:
- Pink Up Bake Sale
- Pink Up BBQ

Be sure to keep an eye out for more Pink-Up events this year!

Kids Helpline

First National Real Estate Mudgee is committed to supporting the community we call home.

Our sponsorship of Kids Helpline - Australia's only free, private and confidential 24/7 phone and online counselling service for young people aged 5 to 25 - provides young people with emotional support at critical moments when they need someone to listen.

The national helpline has fielded more than 8 million contacts over the past 27 years and floods, bushfires and COVID-19 have certainly seen many young people reaching out for assistance in recent times.

Every 90 seconds, someone's son or daughter, grandchild, niece, nephew, neighbour or friend gets in contact with Kids Helpline via its free call number or web chat service.

By helping children access the confidential guidance they need to cope, not just with any hardship associated with the today's challenges, but with year-round problems like cyber-bullying, depression, homelessness, mental health or suicidal thoughts, we hope to make a difference.

The service aligns perfectly with our 'we put you first' philosophy because it puts the families that live in our community first. We want to make sure that Kid's Helpline has the backing it needs to respond to more calls for support than ever before, at any time, for any reason, because all children and young people deserve to be heard.

If you'd like to make a donation to Kids Helpline, drop by our office and we'll be more than happy to help or visit their Website.
