Important Notices

Ensure that you contact your preferred insurance provider to ascertain that your items are fully insured. Your home and/or contents policy may not cover items stored outside your home.

Permitted Items:

  • No flammable items, illegal items or hazardous items are permitted to be stored in these premises.
  • No perishables are to be stored in these premises.
  • We recommend that items of great value or sentimental value not be stored onsite such as jewellery.
  • When storing machinery for long periods of time, ensure that fuel and oil are drained to prevent spillage and reduce the potential for a fire hazard.

Hints and Tips:

  • When packaging your goods into boxes, ensure that you think about proper packaging of the items. Newspapers, bubble wrap and old sheets and towels if you have them handy.
  • Make sure that you mark each box with the items that are in them.
  • Make sure you fill the box to the top with items to reduce the box crushing when stacked under other boxes.
  • Mark any items such as pictures, frames, and mirror as fragile to prevent breakage.
  • When placing the items into the storage unit, place items that you are less likely to need access to at the rear of the unit. This leaves room for items that you may need to get your hands on easily at the front of the unit. But remember, Murphy’s Law will always prevail!

No Fixed Period

First National Real Estate Mudgee offers flexibility in your rental period. You can store your items for as long as you like without having to commit to a fixed term!

Renting a storage shed requires rental to be paid in advance.  You can then continue using the shed for as long as you need allowing greater flexibility and saving of money. When you are ready to vacate the property, you simply provide our rentals team with 7 days' written notice of your intention to vacate.

What Happens Next?

You simply need to contact the Rentals Team on (02) 6372 3000 or email Alternatively, complete the enquiry form below and one of our friendly, professional team will be in touch with availability and options.
If you proceed in leasing storage space, you will be asked to complete a Storage Shed Application Form. This Form will need to be completed and returned to our office prior to you obtaining the storage shed.

This Form will be used to complete the Storage Shed Lease Agreement which you will be required to sign prior to receiving access to your storage unit. You will also need to sign off on your Bond Lodgement Form, which will be sent to the Office of Fair Trading (Please note:we do not hold the bonds, they are lodged with the Office of Fair Trading).
At the time of signing your lease, you will also be required to pay two weeks rent in advance and your rental bond which is equal to four weeks rent.

Once your Lease Agreement and Bond Lodgement has been signed and all monies have been paid, you will then receive access to your storage shed.
